This is a "classic" at least in my book. 


This is the first song I ever covered with my very first (punk) band where I've played bass and sung.  


@B52 Official  are mostly known for their hit song "Love Shack" and then later for the one singer collaborated with  @R.E.M. Archive  for "Shiny happy people", this is an oddity pop (rock) song which stood the test of time for me. 


Yes, I cannot be objective here, as I heard it in my formative years, and danced to it in the clubs where I brought my CD's with me, so that the DJ's would play it. I even set a trend with this song for a while as it became popular in the clubs I was dancing in back then. 


Anyway, for me it is a timeless piece, and is still relevant today. So if you have never heard it, please check it out, you (most likely) will love it:
