Shellshocked Radio Recommendations - Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin - No it is not a Sin to love Pop! #264

The  @PetShopBoys Parlophone  have been around for over 40 years now, so I'm quite sure that you have heard of them by now. 

This was / is one of their first big hits "It's A Sin" and I remember as it came out ... having a small friendly family feud with my brother about which ones favorite bands, mine was  @Depeche Mode  and his the Pet Shop Boys, is the better one ... quite futile as you can imagine, just a brotherly rivalry ... 

The Song still holds up today as a Pop Anthem with religious undertones ... who would have thought that by the sinful title ... ;)  

I was once on my way to become a Priest myself ... so sin and sinful behavior once was a big part of my life. 

Fortunately I matured and these days are long passed. But this song stayed with me as a tombstone for a long gone very different life ...
