Is It Really About The Restrooms?

Welcome back to another episode of SHE Gets It Pod. My name is Chan and this one right here is long overdue, so let's just talk about it. Is it really about the restrooms?

Are we really concerned with who uses the restroom with other people? Are we concerned with what the allowance is, for certain people who choose a certain lifestyle or way of being?

We have to stop beating around the bush and be honest about what we don't like... and Is it because of our personal preference is that we have a problem with what other people can do and cannot do?

Educate yourself on these terms: Its about learning how to respect each other. While acknowledging who is abusing their power.

Gender Identity: A person's internal, deeply held knowledge of their own gender. Everyone has a gender identity.

Sex ( at birth) Babies are given a sex at birth, “male” or “female,” based on the appearance of their external anatomy, then a M or an F is written on the birth certificate.

Never confuse and conflate sexual orientation & gender identity. Sexual orientation describes a person's physical, romantic, and/or emotional attraction to another person. Gender identity is a person's own understanding of their gender.

Cisgender persons is a person whose gender identity is aligned with the sex they were assigned at birth. ( DO NOT ADDRESS ME AS THIS THO, JUST EDUCATING YALL ) Im a woman named Chantal, I love wang only... although women are beautiful...

Transgender: describes people whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.
