Karina Popovich is a first year student at Cornell, but that barely defines her, as she’s also a serial entrepreneur (read, problem solver). She is a self-defined maker who is currently bringing together a community of other makers to create 3D printed face shields for health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis. An avid lover of STEM, she has built a company called Wear Alpha, a 3D printed clothing company, and a nonprofit called Connect with Tech, which introduces STEM to underrepresented communities. And she’s 19. We don’t know how she does it either, but we asked, and we learned. Listen in and we hope you’re as inspired as we were!
