And, if we are not careful the enemy will use those detours of life to destroy the goodness of God and our faith to Believe in good.

God highlighted three men in the bible who encountered mighty detours within their own callings. But God still called and chose them to fulfill His plans and His will:

David was distracted by pleasure (lust): A man after God’s own heart; doesn’t mean perfection. But because he was hungry for God, he sought after God, he had a passion for spiritual things, and he tried to please God despite his failures.Abraham was distracted by fear and uncertainty (doubt): God called him to Father of many nations. God knew that Abraham would struggle with the call set before him, but He also knew that his struggle would produce great growth and faith.Moses was distracted by frustration (overwhelm): An intercessor. The job God called Moses to do was full of difficulties and challenges. Moses never hid his emotions and questions from God.
