Bible reading started out for me in search of practical.

I knew what I had walked through, life experiences, and struggles. I knew what I had seen my mom go through and dealing with her own struggles throughout my childhood. I was looking for answers.

So I found myself reading from the very places of brokenness, emptiness, sadness, trauma, rejection, and abandonment. I was searching for the justification behind my pain, my circumstances, or my actions!

I was reading to prove WHY;

but never THE who.”

Practical: concerned with the facts and real life experience (application piece to relation)Spiritual: relationship between God and man (holiness, gift of the spirit, discipline)Revelation: the revealing of something previously hidden or secret (surprising/valuable)
