On today's episode, Seth interviews John Gross of JC Gross Agency about how he specialize in all kinds of insurance and an extra emphasis on Life insurance and business insurance.

John C. Gross III LUTCF is a native St. Louis born and raised within a mile of where his office set today. John started working full time when he was 15 years old spending the first 8 years of his work life in the restaurant business. John is married 37 years and has 2 grown children, four grandchildren, three horses’ two dogs and one very fast cat!

John started in the insurance business in 1982 selling all lines of insurance including Life insurance and annuities. The same year John became a member of the St. Louis Association of Life underwriters where he has remained a member ever since. John served on the board for more than 10 years and was President in 1998-1999. He is still active in the organization which is now called NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).

As a multiline Insurance agent John excelled in Commercial insurance and Life insurance sales. John is an expert and understands all aspects of personal and business insurance portfolios and can consul his client on a full spectrum of risk management. As a Commercial insurance agent he works with small and mid-size companies up to 50 million in sales and has a firm grasp of evolutionary life of this business. John has expertise in implementing exit strategies for business owners buy-sell arrangements, cross purchase plans, as well as key employee insurance.

In addition John can guide clients through succession planning while being sensitive to the emotional connection some legacy business owners have with closely held corporations and long term multi-generational businesses. John now advises high net worth clients and helps them maximize their tax savings. His expertise also includes Long-term care planning and Retirement planning.
