28: How to Purify Your Nervous System - Nazarite Hair

In the Hebrew Bible, a nazarite is one who voluntarily took a vow. "Nazarite" comes from the Hebrew word ‘nazir’ meaning "consecrated" or "separated". This vow required the person during this time to refrain from cutting the hair on one's head and allowing it to grow. Ancient cultures on Earth believe that long hair signifies unique and special abilities. 

Our cells communicate with us through our hairs, seemingly dead cellular structures (keratin proteins) which are actually arrayed antennae. In actuality, hair is a complex network of cooperating structures that include the part under the skin - the follicle, which consists of sensory cells.

If we see the body as an energy circuit from a shamanistic perspective, our hair connects us to the ethereal realms. We receive information through our hair, which means that we also can have negative energy attachments on our hair, which in turn can affect our entire being. Problems with your hair show problems with your energetic being – think of your hair falling out or thinning in times of stress or illness.
