Lisa Walters is the owner and creator of A Sewing Life Sewing kits and sewing patterns for stuffed animals (asewinglife.com)

Her sewing journey started at the tender age of 8 years old when she sewed soft toys and sew each toys clothes. You could say those early days are what we’re able to now enjoy through the toy patterns Lisa creates.

On today’s episode you’ll hear how her daughter Grace adds the story for each of the toy patterns and kits both Lisa and Grace create.

Lisa’s sewing life has gone through many stages including sewing her own clothes to sewing soft furnishings for her home.

Sewing is definitely in Lisa’s blood and storytelling through the toys is something Grace and Lisa creates that we can now enjoy.

As with all sewing projects, you will find that you can lose yourself in creating something of absolute joy out of a pile of fabric.

Listen to how Lisa shares her love of fabric, colour and texture on today’s podcast.
