EP09 - Ivo Ferreira

During this episode, which from our side we have to rate as our most enjoyable so far! We met up with Ivo Ferreira, a gentleman working at Quinta do Lago golf resort in the Algarve of Portugal. We had the opportunity to meet with Ivo on the driving range to hit a few balls before heading to the prestigious clubhouse surrounded by many local golfers and tourists.
Over an ice cold beer we began the conversation with Ivo and hosts Migs & Mitch. We were very intrigued to find out that Ivo had begun his golfing journey when he started working here 7 years ago but has only been playing for 2 years now. Along with working at the club, he’s had the opportunity to caddy a few wonderful guests and shares some really cool stories with us (my favorite being when he told the golfer to just follow the lines of the fairway) Ivo is not only someone we look forward to playing many rounds of golf with but is a friend that we'll cherish forever.
We discover what golf in Portugal really is about and what the clubs do differently to our previous guests in South Africa.
