Born in Honduras, Sandler Ernst grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, after being adopted by a Jewish couple from New York. He came to Vietnam in 2017 to teach English after dropping out of Law School, looking for new experiences and adventures.

Like many people in Saigon, when you talk to Sandy, you start to learn about his unique and interesting upbringing and background.

After a plethora of jobs from an EMT to Pest Control Sandy has found teaching English to be his most enjoyable job yet. Although wonders whether he is actually making a difference.

But life in Saigon and as a teacher hasn't stopped Sandy from wanting to complete his Law Degree to follow his mom and become an adoption lawyer. Sandy will soon leave Vietnam to return to the U.S and complete his education after being accepted into John Marshall Law School.

We talk about anti-semitism, racism and being an adoptee. We also discuss adoption law in Georgia and the affect of this on all parties involved. As well as the usual questions and life in Saigon.
