In Eden McCallum’s recent research project, conducted in conjunction with the London Business School and Harvard Business School, women seemed to be getting a better deal as independent consultants. The results of a survey of 300 independent consultants and 100 traditionally employed consultants showed that the gender pay gap is much smaller for independent consultants than the employed consultants.

But is that the whole story? No!

In this episode we look at:

Why independent consulting is especially suited to women The 4 main reasons women struggle as independent consultants How women are at least partly responsible for the gender pay gap And what we can do about that.

Together we can close the gap, one proposal at a time.
