Arkangel with a really gritty chug like riff, and then explodes into soaring verses and choruses the track feels like a 90’s style rock track but with production of 2022.packed with impressive hooks and some impressive punch in the guitar tones, go and check this out

I start by saying welcoming Shoun Shoun to the show,

I will be really honest here and say this one I’m still on the fence I have only giving this a couple of plays and I’m not sure if a I love it or not.

it’s an album that is covered in this 60’s mystic vibe which I really like the album has plenty of grove and energy, and displaying these really impressive tones and production, at times I was picking up sprinkles and cues taken from perhaps artists like Blonde and no doubt

the overall feel and sound is one that I felt like I had been taken back in time to the 60’s in London which is not a knock to the album.

I’m glad I gave this a go and open to another few listens, let me know what you think.

StormBringer first came to my attention almost 10 years ago when I went to a local show and end up coming away in ore of the band who on the night were main support, fast forwarded in time I ended up booking StormBringer to headline a charity event a few months before the event the band was in search of a new front man and one of the guitarists was recovering from some serious medical issues, none the less the event went ahead as planned. over the years band have continued to put out a strong catalogue despite line-up changes on guitars and most recently on vocals with Mike the original bands vocalist coming back into the fold

AIIV sees the band following up on what in my view was the bands best album to date in Born a dying breed which was riff heavy and somewhat a power house of an album with a great a killer anthem of a title track and tracks like Smoother, Stick to your guns and Bleed for

AIIV has that classic StormBringer sound with that most of you will love the guitar tones are still there and without doubt the guitars on this album are on another level some really impressive tones/solos are on display. vocally the album is superb Mike’s vocals are incredible a very impressive performance from him.

AIIV is truly an album that takes cues from bands like Alice in chains, Velvet Revolver Alter bridge, Iron maiden. packed from soaring chorus to hooks to pull you in and get to get stuck in your head to have your singing them at the top of your lungs and some breath taking vocal and guitar displays a very enjoyable album.

a very good Rock album a solid 9/10 stand out tracks Medication, Mourning Rose
