In 2014, Jamay became the Executive Director of Career Gear Houston. Since 2004, Career Gear Greater Houston has been committed to the mission of building strong families and communities by empowering veterans, men and male youth to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. Her passion for men’s fashion, male youth development and the transitioning military veteran created the perfect platform.

“The commitment our veterans have made leaves us all in debt to their personal decision of sacrifice and fearless service. I am the grand-daughter, daughter, niece, sister, wife and mother of a veteran, this is how I personally say thank you for their service.”

Jamay is the mother of 2 young men, Dezmond and James. In her spare time, Jamay enjoys traveling with her husband, as well as gardening and crafting.
