When God calls us to wait on Him for the answer/promise, He also calls us to look to Him for faith and strength until it is fulfilled. In the waiting, the trouble, circumstances, feelings of disappointment may not change, but our perspective and where we go with those things does change. God is not blind to what is happening around or within us, He is asking us to trust that He will work it all out for His good.
