Where are we, who are we, and what should we be doing?

We aren’t the only ones to have lived in a random world, which means we aren’t the only ones who fear the unknown. Israel lived in a random world with a shaky political climate. The creation account, then, isn’t just concerned with origins, but also with providing us hope, comfort, and stability in a hopeless, uncomfortable, and unstable world. It does so by telling us: Where we are. Who we are. What we should be doing.
