Children’s Sermon Notes – Luke
Sermon Outline:
Celebration
Comfort
Reflection Questions:
Considering the apostles’ low social standing, absence of affluence, lack of worldly success,
and propensity to react from a place of insecurity and bicker …how eagerly desirous are you
to share an unhurried meal with these guys?
Does God’s unrelenting desire to be with you noticeably impact your insecurities and anxieties?
How is God currently inviting you to simply accept the reality that He wants you (like a mother
delights in her baby [Isa. 66:12-14])? How does this free you from needing people’s approval, and/or needing to “be right”?
What do you truly celebrate/commemorate?
What produces in you abiding comfort and deep confidence?
