Sermon Outline:

Says So
Subterraneous
Satire

Reflection Questions:

When was a time you really doubted that God was at work, but then you were sincerely shocked to discover that HE WAS!?
How has God’s Word been of supernatural assistance to you? …without solving your problem(s), or making sense of everything, how have you been helped & comforted by God’s Word?
What particular politics, popular trends, and hysterias currently captivate you? How might you overshadow and supplant your unhealthy idée fixe with the healthy fixation of Christ crucified, and enduring by seeing Him who is invisible (Hebrews 11:26-27; Galatians 6:14)?
Paul (in 1 Corinthians 1:18) points out that the world regards the crescendo of God’s redemptive plan as FOOLISHNESS, and yet God blatantly planned such satire of a reproached and crucified King to be the epicenter of our victory, liberty, and identity as recipients of God’s scandalous grace! How do you personally and habitually steward this shocking, satirical, mystery? (see Galatians 6:14; Hebrews 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:2; Hebrews 11:26; Revelation 5:5-6).
