Money makes people do crazy things. But how many people could possibly be so money-hungry that they would kill their own grandfather and mother over a span of several years, in order to keep their bank account stocked? That is exactly what it is alleged Nathan Carman did. Nathan came from a very wealthy family and inherited half a million dollars after his grandfather was murdered, and shot to death in his own mansion. There was a suspicion that Nathan would be involved, though no one has ever been charged with the killing.

Within a few short years, Nathan spent every penny he had in his account. Which is why the following events were incredibly suspicious. Nathan would be involved in a boating accident - where his boat sunk with his mother presumably on it and he was lost at sea for eight days before being rescued. With his mother presumed deceased, he stood to inherit 7 million dollars - that is, if he could convince a jury that he didn’t fake a boating accident and kill her for money. Nathan would maintain his innocence - denying killing his grandfather or his mother. But he would not have his day in court. Just this past week, Nathan Carmas was found unresponsive in his prison cell and pronounced dead. Will we ever know the truth of what happened - and if Nathan would kill the two people closest to him, for millions of dollars?
