When 21-year-old Lauren Agee told her mother she had plans with her best friend to go to a three-day event called Wakefest, she immediately had a bad feeling about it. Call it mother’s intuition, but she was incredibly anxious about her beautiful and very trusting daughter going to this alcohol-fueled festival. And unfortunately, that gut feeling was right - because just a few days after Lauren left for Wakefest, she would get that dreaded phone call that her daughter was found dead. She had presumably drowned after being found face-down in the lake near her campsite. Her death was ruled an accident - but her mother has always believed that it was something more sinister at play. That someone - maybe even the best friend she went with - knew more than what they were saying. Lauren died in 2015, however, her friends and family continue to push to have her death re-examined, because they believe this to be a case of foul play.
