Previous Episode: Keeping Christ in Christmas
Next Episode: Triggers in Motherhood

Have you noticed that the world is becoming more and more black and white?   The differences between one opinion and another are becoming so much greater in the areas that impact our daily living as moms.   It seems that every day, where there had once been "grey" areas of life, the "grey" is becoming more black and white as new laws are passed or something new comes up in the news that makes that middle ground disappear.

Today we are having a conversation about being women who dare to be different than the world.   It is going to take us to some bold places and I'm really excited about going there with you.  I believe God has called us to live boldly in THIS time as He chose US to be the mothers for such a time as this, and we want to live into the calling that He has placed on our lives.

I have a new friend to introduce to you named Elizabeth Parsons.  Elizabeth has 5 children and I met her through her Instagram platform.  While following her life there, I noticed that she makes many choices to live in ways that are different than culture.  I have seen stark contrasts to cultural norms in the way that she talks intentionally about marriage, mothering, faith, the medical choices they make in their home, the way they choose to educate their family, and more.  Elizabeth comes from a nursing background which makes the differences in their medical choices even more surprising because many of them are not what you would find in traditional western medicine.
