This provocative work tackles the pressing question of how Islam is interacting with, and shaping, Western civilization. Eric's book further raises inquiries on which form of Islam - the reformist or fundamentalist - will ultimately gain prominence. But beyond pointing out the differences he offers no solutions or why we should really care.
