Jia Wertz had a 20 plus year super successful career in fashion business development, covering major brands from Bebe to Aldo Shoes. She started her own fashion brand called Studio 15 with a commitment to philanthropy with over 30 successful ventures for female entrepreneurs in Africa. She is also a writer for Forbes, business.com and Thrive Global and none of these are her second scene!

In 2019 she flipped her script and went into filmmaking. Her debut documentary which she produced, directed and edited is titled Conviction. It has seen major success in the festival circuit from Greenwich International to Cannes International. It explores the inconsistencies in our justice system by following the conviction and exoneration of an innocent man.
