This candy for the holidays is reminiscent of berries in new fallen snow or it may be part of your favourite chocolate covered candy bar.  It’s a candy whose origins can be traced all the way back to the tenth century.  While it’s called many different names depending on where in the world it’s made, there’s no denying it’s part of a classic Christmas dessert platter.  We’re exploring the history and origins of this creamy marshmallow-like dessert: nougat.
