Seahawk fans, welcome again to another edition of the Seahawks Playbook Podcast! Join your hosts Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers and we breakdown the win vs the New York Jets and we look ahead to the contest vs the Washington Football Team. Seattle final found an opponent it could easily handle and blowout in the Jets, giving fans a brief glimpse of what it's like to relax and have fun during an actual football game. Kidding aside, the Seahawks showed up and handled its business against the worst record team in the NFL at now 0-13. The good news out of this game was that Seattle dominated on both sides of the ball, continuing that now 5-week trend on defense, as well as reestablishing itself on the offensive side of the ball as a team that can move up and down the field and score at will. Of course, we all know it's the Jets, but none the less, it was a good sign if they can maintain this level of play moving forward.

Speaking of moving forward, Bill and Keith take a good look into the surging Washington Football Team. Winners of 4 in a row and 5 of the last 7, Washington comes into this contest with a very solid top 5 defense, and a rather anemic offense. Seattle's defense should continue to perform well against this group. It's the defense that will give Russell Wilson and the offense all it can handle on Sunday. Their front four on the defensive line could be the best in the NFL when you combine stopping the run (Ranked 10th in the NFL) and Rushing the Passer (Ranked #2 in the NFL).

Make sure you come back and join us again next week as we have a decisive game against our division rivals, the Los Angeles Rams in what could be a game that decides the division winner as well as have major implications for playoff seeding.

Go Hawks!
