S6 E16: "Alpha On My Mind"

This week we are dodging both jealous partners and shapeshifting dogs while we discuss “Alpha”! We’re talking about how scared we were this was going to turn into a Panflute episode, all of the awkward banter that didn’t land, how Karyn is in all ways that matter just Will Graham, launch a Hannibal-related theory, and just kind of shake our heads at what this episode is doing to Scully. We make fun of the poster plotline, roll our eyes at Jealous Scully, talk about how the least effective way to flirt is via computer mouse, and wonder why exactly Scully is angry that a woman has lupus. This episode also wins the award for most laughable line in the entire show: “Don’t underestimate a woman. They can be tricksters too.” I mean, honestly. They made Gillian Anderson say those words with her mouth! What on earth…
