Amy Trigg is an actor and writer from Essex. She was the first wheelchair user to graduate from a performance course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her acting credits include work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe, Netflix, BBC and Universal. 
Amy is a writer for the upcoming BBC series ‘Ralph and Katie’ . She is also writing her first radio drama for BBC Radio 3. Alongside this, Amy has original projects in development with ITV Studios, Little Door, The Forge and Two Rivers Media. Her essay ‘An Ode to Improvisation (and Poehler and Fey)’ features in the book ‘Feminist’s Don’t Wear Pink (and other lies)’. 
Amy is on attachment with the Kiln Theatre, after winning one of the six 2022 Playwrights' Scheme Bursaries. Amy is currently part of the BBC TV Drama Writers' Programme 2021 (partnered with Eleven Film).
