This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes Preston Fassel to the show.

An author known for his novel Our Lady of the Inferno (and its upcoming sequel Beasts of 42nd Street), Mr. Fassel has chosen David Cronenberg’s 1983 sci-fi/horror masterpiece Videodrome for discussion this week.

In this talk, Mr. Fassel discusses the film’s standing amongst his all-time favorite horror films, whether or not the film’s crazier sequences are meant to be reality or hallucinations, and whether or not the final moment is meant to be a defeat or a triumph for the lead character.  Along the way, he and Jinx discuss their first experiences with the film, the fabled deleted sequences, and…Robocop toys?!

It’s a great chat with a wonderful guest, and it’s one we hope you enjoy.
