Gettin’ Hammered with Hammer Episode 1 - The Curse of Frankenstein

This week on Scream Addicts, we’re doing something a little different!

This episode marks the beginning of “Gettin’ Hammered with Hammer!”, a recurring side project for Scream Addicts wherein cohosts Jinx and Paul Farrell will sit down with a classic Hammer horror film and play a drinking game as they watch and comment while growing ever more inebriated.

As the guys tackle their first ep, they discuss the origins of this podcast, their overall love of Hammer, and their favorite entries in the studio’s long run of classics.  Along the way, they argue over the general taste of beer, discuss post-Scream neo-slashers, and…fail to live up to the podcast’s title by not getting hammered?!

It’s something a little different for Scream Addicts, but it’s a commentary we hope you’ll love!

This week was Paul’s choice, so he chose the alcohol and drinking game rules!

His beverage of choice:  Stone IPA

Paul’s Drinking Game Rules:

-People exchanging serious looks or glances

-Characters pacing while pontificating/monologuing

-Drink whenever somebody onscreen drinks or pours a drink

-Whenever Elizabeth asks about the laboratory

-Whenever someone says “Victor”

-Whenever something dead is reanimated
