An Ontario MPP wants to wants to outlaw “scalper bots”, computer software which snatches tickets away from fans and concert goers before they even get the chance to purchase tickets. A recent example of these scalper bots getting tickets before anyone else was when the Tragically Hip tickets went on sale. Is there any tech already available that can beat these bots?
