Nigeria and South Africa are the 2 largest economies in Africa. South Africa ratified the AFCFTA and Nigeria is yet to ratify. In this episode we hear from Jackie Mpondo-Hendricks who has done business in both countries, mainly focusing on the telecommunications sector. Jacki is the 1st black female President of the 130 year old Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). We discuss the uniqueness of doing business on the African Continent, in countries which have different historic backgrounds such as: Anglophone versus francophone.
