Welcome to a brand new episode of SFP-NOW and our first with our new hosts.

For this weeks show we feature an interview with Star Trek Authority Dr. Trek AKA Larry Nemecek who chats with us about his new Podcast The Trek Files, which launched in late January on the Roddenberry Network. During our conversation we discuss the new show as well as the social commentary and politics that can be found within Star Trek and how it touches on a post scarcity economy.

Larry Nemecek has been a mainstay within Star Trek fandom for years and with a background in both theatre and journalism. His skills as both researcher, writer and presenter are second to none. Respected both as a professional by all within the industry of science fiction and fantasy journalism as well as by fans. Larry has well and truly earned the name of Dr. Trek.

For the second hour of the show I am joined by my good friend Raissa to discuss some of the television shows we have been watching and enjoying. Which includes the Librarians and Star Trek: Discovery.
