How do science communication departments in universities and research organizations need to look like in order to embrace the fast changing communication environments? In this episodes, Dr. Patrick Honecker the Chief Communication Officer at TU Darmstadt gives insights on how this question can be answered. As one answer to this question, Patrick helped implementing four communication measures. These include heavy investment into online and offline trainings for researchers, a social media hub that informs researchers about social media offerings at the university, and a dedicated communicator that jointly with researchers develops their communication strategies. Check out the episode for more insights :-).
