It's one of those feel-good family sci-fi films about an alien's special bond with a human and their dramatic escape on a flying bike. Nope, not that one. Amid Disney's long string of live-action comedies released in the 1970s, "The Cat From Outer Space" made its debut on June 9, 1978 and made kids wonder if their own cat could really talk if they just had the right collar.
