Ever wondered … "should I move to a bigger city for comedy?" Ever struggled with, “Should I go full time?” Keith Alberstadt joins us this week to discuss how he made the jump from an office job to a 24/7 comedy career.

Keith makes his comedy relatable and approachable while delivering it in a confident (and sometimes sarcastic) way. He’s performed for on numerous late might shows including Late Show With David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Fox’s Red eye … basically any show on late at night. He also has been a contributing writer for Saturday Night Live’s Weekend update and Jimmy Fallon.

We talk specifically about:

Starting and stopping his pursuit of comedy
Developing an act on the road
Getting things squared away before jumping
Noticing improvement
Setting goals
The choice of NYC over LA
How he was persistent in pursuing the David Letterman Show
What the process was like leading up to the appearance
The pressure of a second Letterman appearance
His preference for writing
Balancing road vs NYC

and much, much more.

This is another must listen for new and aspiring comedians. Especially if you are thinking about going full time.
