While attending Columbia University in 2014, Jason worked with a team to find a solution to a life-threatening problem healthcare workers were facing during the Ebola outbreak: ineffective disinfection. This marked the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey and led to the creation of a patented, colorized disinfectant called Highlight. Soon after, Jason and his team received enough grant funding from the USAID to spearhead their work, and they were able to launch Kinnos and get Highlight to those who needed it. Listen in as he chats with Sarah Funk and Maxym Martineau about the full story behind his invention and how it's continuing to make a positive impact on our world — especially during COVID-19.
