Our next guest, Schtu, a passionate electronic music artist with an expansive knowledge of a variety of different styles and genres, presents his drink of choice: the Vodka Cranberry!

Schtu was born at the start of the 90s in Sheffield, an ex-industrial city in the north of England. Always obsessed with music, he spent his teenage years playing guitar in bands and in 2010 he bought a pair of Technics 1210s and started to collect records to DJ with. Thanks to his clear dedication to the craft, the gigs quickly began to flow in and he was soon resident at several club nights, usually playing drum & bass.
In 2012 he discovered - and immediately fell in love with - the Berlin house & techno scene, and a year later moved there to further evolve his own style.

He started producing his own music soon after, and has since gone on to release on established labels such as URSL, Connaisseur Recordings and Laut & Luise, receiving DJ support on his tracks from scene heavyweights such as Adriatique, Frankey & Sandrino, Super Flu and Adana Twins.

2021 then saw the launching of Schtu’s own label - Casomat, with the debut release (Schtu - ‘Siberian Express EP’) receiving a 10/10 review from German print magazine Faze Mag. He’s since gone on to feature artists such as Murat Uncuoglu, Aldebaran, Johannes Klingebiel and Deckert on the label.

More recently, Schtu has now added a live-set to his arsenal, with the debut performance being filmed at Grabowsee by production crew Berlin Brothers (link to video below).

2023 will see him continue doing what he loves most - writing music, collecting records and making people dance. Armed with a healthy collection of analogue gear he now has both the tools and the talent to step up his game and take his music to the next level.
