This week, we are joined by poet & author, Mahogany L. Browne! Mahogany is the Executive Director of JustMedia, a media literacy initiative designed to support the groundwork of criminal justice leaders & community members. She is the author of recent works: Vinyl Moon, Chlorine Sky, Woke: A Young Poets Call to Justice, Woke Baby, & Black Girl Magic. In this episode, Mahogany tells us about her experience reading as a child, writing through discomfort, and the process of writing a novel-in-verse.
