Welcome to our SEASON 5 PREMIER! It's Episode 178!

We start season five off strong with some reminiscing about the pod-past, bitching a little about some of the headaches that 2023 "gifted" us, some random space news, and the obligatory metal banter.

Then, we dive right into our main topic, and it's a good one! Good and confusing! "The Chilean Timeslip Mystery", is what we are calling it. Also known as "The Armando Valdes UFO Encounter", or "The Abduction of Armando Valdes."

On April 25th, 1977 in Pampa Lluscuma, Chile, something strange happened to Cpl. Valdes in front of his men that was truly unexplainable and unsettling. He says it happened, then it didn't happen, then some of it happened, then that he would tell all in his book... which was never published. Only leaving everyone with more questions. Except for his men. His men who were there and witnessed the terrifying events. They have never wavered with their version of the incident, leaving no doubt that SOMETHING happened to Cpl. Valdes. Something that he, himself, did not want to face or accept.
