Episode 127: Swamp Dogs Co-Writer J.M. Brandt and John Carpenter's The Thing (1982)

This week, Terry and Mary Beth sit down with writer J.M. Brandt to discuss his fantastic comic book series Swamp Dogs. After Terry and J.M. nerd out over old D&D books and Ravenloft, we discuss his relationship to horror and then talk about his comic as well as some comics he's been enjoying. Then J.M. takes us back to his very funny origin story of The Thing, his first watch of it and how it's become a favorite. Along the way, we discuss the different ways the film could be interpreted and Terry takes everyone down a rabbit hole of conspiracies to determine just who The Thing was at the end.
