Spanning over eight years, William Onyeabor released nine albums, but never once played a live show. It wasn't until recently that the founder of Luaka Bop! and frontman to the Talking Heads, David Byrne, rediscovered his incredible catalog of music. Though shrouded in mystery, pieces of William Onyeabor's life have surfaced and been revealed. He was a business man, a family man, a community man, and an outspoken activist for peace in Nigeria and throughout the world.
