Jurassic Park

Hey Scaredy Cats! Picture it… summer 1993.  A teenage girl takes her two younger brothers to see the movie that everyone is talking about.  As the movie ends and the credits roll, that girl’s joy and awe at what she has just seen fades when she turns to see her youngest brother, then only eight, curled up in his seat, making himself as small as he can be, hands over his ears.  The thought that passes through her head?  “My parents are going to kill me.” That dissipates when the brother slowly turns his head, taking his hands away from his ears, and asks “Can we see that again??” In case you haven’t already guessed, that super cool big sister was me and that movie was Jurassic Park.
