A group of six boardgamers dive into the D&D campaign “Hoard of the Dragon Queen”
Characters include Petrilus (Barbarian), Sparker (Warlock), Burk (Cleric), Flora (Sorcerer), and Jaquen (Fighter).
#65 – Love Potion No. 9 (Lives)
Highlights include:
1. The group caravan continues and eventually runs into a group of Lizardfolk blocking the road.
2. The Lizards demand a tribute and after accepting Flora’s proposed gift, they then demand a sacrifice. Flora uncorks her love potion and a high-stakes love affair commences (for exactly one hour).
3. Leaving the gang to go back with her newly-betrothed, Flora has to make a plan to escape before the potion wears off!
4. Days after the lizard run-in, we arrive at a swamp and find ourselves surrounded by frog people! It never ends does it…
5. We meet ‘Grandmaster Frogman of the Swamp of his Highness’ who also demands tribute; Flora makes a compelling offer but at what cost to Petrilus?
