#177 – Anii Apologizes (on behalf of idiots)

Session 5, Part 2: Our group has their weapons left at the door as they are brought in to meet the queen of the Lizardfolk. An alliance with Saltmarsh is suggested and the queen seems receptive but wants to test the groups resolve–a nearby mutated alligator has been causing problems and the queen wants it gone and requests its head for her wall. She also mentions a missing helm from her throne room.

After we all learn where inspiration really comes from our group heads out to find and slay a gator. In a rather swampy area perception is rolled and initiative isn’t far behind. A swampy, mossy battle ensues! Anii gets a taste of bardic inspiration in the most uninspiring way possible while Wetz breaks the rules by attacking the alligator.
