Our group of adventurers continue their journey in the D&D campaign “The Dungeon of Doom”
Characters of this campaign include: Brack the Deep Gnome Paladin (Eric), Diana the Aasimar Fighter (Lindsay), Brokkr the Dwarf Cleric (Kyle), Murgatroyd the Kenku Warlock (Stephen), and Luke is our fearless DM.
Highlights include:
1. We begin with Diana & Brokkr figuring out the alchemist’s puzzle; Brack is instructed to follow our directions very precisely and his spelling ability is tested.
2. Part one of the puzzle is successfully complete! We receive treasure and a magic pearl.
3. Part two of the puzzle gives us a close call regarding an interpretation of twilight (the time, not the book) but we prevail and a magical staff that really speaks to Murgatroyd is revealed.
4. Part three of the puzzle is a breeze and we are granted the 5th & 6th glyph stones!
5. Departing the lab and going back to the life-force-taking statue, we learn we all need to make this sacrifice to communicate in the next room. Brack inadvertently denies the offer but Diana saves the day by giving up double the life-force to pay for Brack, what a hero!
