This week is all about moving forward and reevaluating all those goals you set at the start of your journey.   The 12-week year system is a great way to break your work year into manageable, trackable, chunks. This allows you to check in on your goals frequently, and celebrate when you achieve them.   

Setting up your processes is a crucial part of the recalibration process, so writing down your plan is key. You’re rethinking about what a “year” means for your work. When you frame it as 12 weeks, you have more urgency and energy to accomplish goals. 

 

After your 12 weeks, it’s time for planning, process control, measurement, time use accountability, commitment, and recognizing greatness in the moment. Note when you’re most productive, what you performed best at, your best work process, etc. 

 

Start slow and ramp-up. The goal is to do these small steps are moving forward every 12 weeks. By tracking your progress, you can track your progress and feel yourself growing at the end of the 12 week period. Have a buddy to help keep you accountable!
