73 years ago on this very date 14th August 1947, Pakistan was created and parts of India got divided. The two self-governing countries of Pakistan and India came into existence at midnight of 14th-15th August 1947. This partition was the largest exodus of Modern History as India got divided along the lines of religious majority. More than 14 million people were displaced and more than 1 million died.
