The Leatherman

The story of the famous Vagabon leather maker, that traveled 365 miles from the Hudson river to the Connecticut river regularly during the 1800’s is a story filled with mystery. The man’s skin so cold from the winters that even his skin looked like leather. It said his final resting place was in Sparta cemetery in Ossining New York. But when his grave was exhumed by an archaeologists nothing was found. Yet, reports of paranormal activity are high in Sparta cemetery. On this episode I give a historical background of the letherman. A mysterious story in Connecticut and Westchester Lore.
