Great leaders are much more than just a person in charge. Anyone with power over others can dictate to them what to do with no questions asked and demand that it be done. But that’s not good leadership.
Michael Abrashoff was a commander in the U.S. Navy and at age 36, took command of one of the worst ships in the Pacific Fleet.
