Doom is Eternal

On this episode we discuss the newest game in the Doom series, 2020's Doom Eternal. Join us as we talk about some fantastic and gooey animations, a great game-play loop and get way too deep into the lore bible. 

Since this episode was recorded the game has been updated so our complaints about swimming (notably the addition of vertical dashing underwater) and the Mayker Drone tutorials have been addressed in some form. Check out the latest patch notes (1.1 as of upload) to see the changes.

This was the last episode we recorded before going into quarantine and we did it in a new environment and with just the one microphone so be aware that the audio quality is not up to snuff but later episodes are better. There is an occasional banging noise in the background where some dogs wanted to get in on the recording so apologies for that.
